Location: University of Louisville – College of Business, Room BS 123
Date/Time: Monday, April 28th at 6pm.
Why attend?
The Sandbox program at UofL is a selective, hands-on innovation studio where students work on real-world challenges in startups, product development, and venture design. These are not your average students—they're future founders, product leads, and change-makers. A few highlights from this semester’s cohort:
Savannah Smith is leading a student-run podcast that has grown to 10K+ listeners. She's exploring brand partnerships and scalable storytelling.
Jake Thompson, a senior in Computer Science, just completed an AI-driven tool for restaurant staffing optimization, and he’s looking for feedback from real operators.
Laila Patel is designing a mobile budgeting app aimed at Gen Z—she’s built a beta and is now testing with student users.
Marco Alvarez is collaborating with a local entrepreneur to launch a niche bourbon tourism guide as a digital product.
Nate Royal is founder of DueGooder, a student scheduling app. Current junior at UofL and recent finalist at the ACC Pitch Competition.
We're also inviting a number of current founders like Rachel Edenfield and Kahlil Garmon.
We'd love for you to join this interesting crowd. Monday April 28th, 2025 at 6pm at UofL College of Business BS 123 link here.
Peace, Pioneers. ✌️
