Big news. Velocity Demo Day / The LOUIES will be at Solyco Capital 111 West Main Street. It’s an awesome venue to host such an amazing event.

Kicking the night off will be Velocity. We’re 10 weeks into our Velocity Competition and our 5 startups have done an amazing job. The race is close and will come down to the wire. Will it be the college wunderkinds of DueGooder, the hustler at MoneyBot, the serious business of Jokester, the scrappy talent of BottleEpisodes or the mysterious wizard of LeapFrog? Hint: 4 of 5 startups hit revenue, but with 2 weeks to go, who know?! Meet the companies and find out the winner at Demo Day

Following right after Velocity will be The LOUIES, Louiesville’s premier startup award show (more Dundies than Oscars). Dress up but have fun. Our favorite awards are returning such as Louisville’s Favorite Founder and Assistant to the Founder. We have a number of new awards such as the Relentless Grit and Hustle Award, Insomnia Award and the Gift of Gab Award. Find out about all the awards and nominate someone here.

Just to emphasize, we need more nominations!!! Nominations will close Sunday midnight and voting will start 10am Monday.
