🚨 Y Combinator called…

They want their name back.

And by “called,” we mean their lawyers sent us a very friendly change-your-name-or-else note. 😅

Naturally, we opened a dialogue. Smarter heads prevailed. Deals were struck.

There will be a name change.
But we can’t confirm what Y Combinator will be going by moving forward. 😂🤣

Long live KYCombinator ⚔️⚔️⚔️
(Kidding. Kidding.)

We agreed to change our name and logo.
Our ask? Let a couple of KY angels into Y Com’s Demo Day.

🥊 Punch & Plunge Recap

We swapped sauna for boxing (cold plunge stayed, obviously) in this round of Fire & Ice.

Cool workout? Sure.
But if the goal is connection, not just throwing hands—it missed the mark.

Not enough networkability.
Not enough sauna trauma bonding post-plunge. 😮‍💨

Gloves down.
We’re pivoting back to the sauna for Round 3.

We took the momentum from HackKentucky and rolled it into Build & Chill—a one-day mini-hack with a little more emphasis on networking and learning.

👥 50 builders showed up
📚 2 classes were taught—huge thanks to Michael Francis and Jeffrey Squyres for holding court and dropping knowledge.

And yeah… things got built.
Even better? Someone landed a job.

👏 Shoutout to  Zaid Bulbul, HackKentucky champ , who got hired by Sedrino during Build & Chill.
